Guangdong Weiya Optical Disc Co., Ltd is a state-owned high-tech enterprise approved by General Administration of Press and Publication of the People’s Republic of China, administrated by Administration of Press and Publication of Guangdong Province and sponsored by Guangdong Provincial Publishing Group. As an optical disc production base in South China, the enterprise mainly conducts the copying business of read-only optical discs (CD, VCD, CD-ROM, DVD) and stampers. The enterprise has developed from the registered capital of over RMB 40 million yuan to the current amount of fixed assets of nearly RMB 200 million yuan, with the annual output of nearly 100 million pieces of son discs and up to 15,000 pieces of stampers. The enterprise has also passed certification of ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System since 2001.
